Breakfast fit for a king

As we are told repeatedly breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that makes alot of sense after a period of 8-9hours fasting (Sleep) blood sugar is low, nutrient stores are depleted and we are in need of refueling. But a often over looked fact, is breakfast as a huge impact on neurotransmitter release. Think of it as this: Dopamine = motivation, Acteylcholine = memory, Gaba = stability, Serotonin = happiness.
Morning elevation of Dopamine & Acetylcholine optimises brain productivity, focused energy and mental alertness.
Release of dopamine increases with protein; eggs, turkey bacon, turkey sausages, sardines, & whey protein shake.
Release of acetylcholine increases with fatty acids; fish oil, macadamia nuts, pine nuts, cashews, & unground flaxseeds.
Example: Omelette, 3 omega-3 enriched eggs with a slice of turkey bacon, handful macadamia nuts and a cup of organic black coffee.
Not only will this give a suitable brain function boost but it will also stabilise your blood sugar enabling better dietary choices to be made for the rest of the day and a significant boost to your weightloss and health goals.
Make 2011 the year of productivity with a high protein breakfast.
