Fool proofing your fat loss
Here’s my top tips to keep you on track:
The before photo
“Do I really look like that?” I hear from every client when I take there BEFORE photo.
We really don’t see ourselves as others see us, this initial shock is a great motivator and I encourage you to take a photo from the front, side and back, wearing just shorts and a sports bra.
The take your worst BEFORE photo and stick it on your fridge, right there, where you will see it every day.
The tape measure doesn’t lie
Measure your waist, hips, thigh, and upper arm: total these numbers to find your total inches. The total inches is going to be your measure of progress.
Every Monday you are going to total your inches and record your progress.
Remember this measurements = motivation.
Find yourself a fat loss partner
Find someone else to compete with comparing your total inch loss every Monday. Someone who is going to hold you accountable for your progress, use the fear of humiliation to boost your determination. Guilt and fear are powerful motivators when it comes to fat loss.
It’s about what you love
You are a result of what you love. Do you love cakes more than being lean? By loving yourself you will be better able to make positive choices.
By taking pleasure in eating well and training hard, you’re positively changing yourself.
When you love something you can do it forever, it isn’t a chore.
Love truly is very powerful.
Tell everyone
Make you fat loss public; tell everyone you know, you’re on a diet. That way when you’re tempted to cheat, people will remind you of your commitment to yourself and them.
Be bold tell them how much you’re going to lose and by what date, this provides pressure as you won’t want to fail!
When you succeed you’ll have new found respect from your peers and a boost to self confidence.
