FAQs

Why should I choose Believe to Achieve?
We have a proven track record of assisting clients to achieve their goals, we offer a range of unique services that enable you to achieve results quickly and safely.

How can you guarantee results?
If you follow exactly what we say to do, in and outside the gym; we will guarantee your progress. We will take measurements that accurately assess your current levels and then we regularly reassess you and show you exactly how you’ve improved.

Do you interview clients?
Yes we interview all our clients before entering a contractual agreement, we believe that it is very important to assess client / trainer suitability and for us to understand what you expect.

What happens if I can’t make an appointment?
Within our contract that all clients sign we state that all appointments cancelled within a 24hour period will be charged at full rate, any cancellations prior to 24hours will incur no charge.

How hard will I have to exercise?
We will assess your level of fitness and we will prescribe a suitable level of exercise, our workouts do involve hard work as this is necessary for you to achieve your goals.

BioSignature – How does it work?
During BioSignature we rebalance and optimise several hormone levels. Hormones play a large part in controlling your levels of body fat and muscle tissue. We use specific training, diet and supplement protocols to optimise your hormonal balance changing your physique and improving your health.

How is body fat assessed?

We complete a 12 site skin-fold measurement using Harpenden callipers; this procedure has been accurately compared to a Dexa scan (very expensive and very accurate method of assessing body fat). We do not use Bio-impedance devices; hand or lower body scales, as they are not a accurate way of assessing body fat.

How will I notice the difference in my body shape?
Within two to three weeks your clothes should feel looser; tightening your belt is a good sign your losing fat from the right areas, or fitting comfortably into that previously tight dress. We will also confirm your progress with a reassessment.

What happens after the 12 weeks are completed?
You will have attained your physique goals and will have adopted a healthy lifestyle which is easy for you to maintain by being sensible during week days and being more free with your dietary practices during weekends.

Does BioSignature have to be 12 weeks?
No, but it is usually a 12 week program as we need time to correct multiple hormonal imbalances and we find that most people will achieve their physique goals within this period of time. Three months is a very short time too change your physique forever.

How restrictive is the diet? Alcohol, Chocolate, McDonalds?
You will be surprised at how much food is within your daily plan; this is no starvation diet! Any cheat foods (alcohol, chocolate etc) will be allowed for your cheat meal which become more often as you become leaner.

How often per week will I need to exercise?
You will need to exercise a minimum of 3 days per week for 45 minutes, if you cannot commit to this, BioSignature will not work for you.

What methods of payment do you take?
We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer, and PayPal.

Do I have to take many supplements?
Yes you will need to take a variety of herbal and vitamin/mineral supplements throughout the 12 week program, in a ideal world a healthy diet would supply you will all the nutrients you need; but reality is, our food is nutrient deficient and our bodies have been depleted by our previously poor dietary habits.

Is it healthy?
Yes BioSignature will improve your health! We will provide you with a risk assessment for many common illnesses and diseases, and we will show you how you have reduced your health risks during the 12 weeks.

Why do you not allow steady state aerobics to be performed during BioSignature?
Why do you not allow steady state aerobics to be performed during BioSignature?
When performing any constant aerobic activity; exercise classes, walking on the treadmill, stationary cycle and the cross trainer there is a constant increase in cortisol; the stress hormone which burns muscle and stores fat on your umbilical (stomach) area, and there is a decrease in testosterone, growth hormone and insulin which repair muscle tissue.
Constant aerobic activity results in a fatter, weaker and therefore slower human. We are anaerobic creatures by nature.

General

If I have a health issue can you help?
Yes we can often help with health issues such as; Hypertension, high cholesterol, morning sickness, PMS, Memory loss, Arthritis, osteoporosis, Diabetes, MS and influenza.
After an initial consultation we will present you with a plan to improve your health.

How many sessions will I need to rehab my injury?In most cases four – eight sports therapy sessions are required, however continued structural balance work may be needed for up to 16 weeks to complete the rehabilitation process.

What level of support will I receive in helping me to achieve my goals?
We will select the appropriate level of contact with your trainer during your initial assessment; some may need initially a lot of guidance and assistance, whilst others may need very little.
